Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“these Terms”) set out the conditions for using the real estate property search and browsing application “SUMIMOTO Hub” (“the Service”) provided by SUMIMOTO, Inc. (“the Company”). Users shall use the Service after agreeing to these Terms.

1. Scope and Definitions

These Terms apply to all relationships between the Company and users concerning the use of the Service.

“User” means any person who uses the Service after agreeing to these Terms, and “Property Information” means information regarding real estate properties provided on the Service.

2. Account Registration

Users shall register accurate and up-to-date information using the methods designated by the Company.

Users are responsible for managing their own accounts and passwords, which may not be lent, transferred, or shared with third parties. The Company is not liable for any damage arising from unauthorized use of registered information.

3. Prohibited Acts

In using the Service, users shall not engage in any of the following acts.

a) Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals

b) Acts that infringe the rights or interests of the Company or third parties

c) Registering false information, gaining unauthorized access, or otherwise interfering with the operation of the Service

d) Reproducing, reprinting, or commercially using information from the Service without the Company’s permission

e) Any other act that the Company reasonably deems inappropriate

4. Handling of Property Information

Property Information provided on the Service includes information supplied by real estate operators and others, and the Company does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

AI-generated search results, recommendations, and consultation responses are reference information only. Contracts and other decisions should be made by users at their own discretion and responsibility, after confirming with professionals such as licensed real estate brokers.

5. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights in the Service and the text, images, logos, programs, and other materials contained in it belong to the Company or to the rightful rights holders. Users may not use them without the Company’s prior permission.

6. Disclaimer

The Company does not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or usefulness of the Service, or that it will be free from interruption or error.

Except in cases of the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for any damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.

7. Changes to and Suspension of the Service

The Company may change, add to, or suspend all or part of the Service without prior notice to users. The Company is not liable for any damage caused thereby to users.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute between the Company and a user concerning the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance by agreement.

9. Revisions

The Company may revise these Terms as necessary. When making material changes, the Company will provide notice by posting on the Service or by other appropriate means. The revised Terms take effect once posted on the Service.
